Playing UG Madness in type 1

Back when Odyssey block was still legal in type 2, UG Madness was my favorite deck. When it rotated out I switched to Goblin bidding in type 2, but kept UG madness as an extended deck.
Since then I moved across the country a couple of times and settled in an area where type 1 is the prevailing format. I never even considered playing type 1 before because of the cost of the cards you need to have in your deck if you want to have a chance against the decks that sport several of the power 9. But I ended up in a playgroup that plays type 1, but it seems more like extended. I see some dual lands, a lot of powerful old cards, and maybe 2 out of twenty players have some of the power 9 in their decks.
At first I was playing goblin bidding pretty close to a type 2 build, with 4 Skullclamps. Then I added some Goblin Grenades, some Goblin Lackeys, and it still did okay but it was obvious that if it failed to win by turn 4 my opponent would pull off some super combo and decimate me.
I needed some blue to counter these combos, so I went back to UG Madness. Before my first tournament the changes to the type 2 build I made were to add Fact or Fiction, Tropical Island, and Yavimaya Coast. This helped with the mana, I hardly ever draw a bad opening hand, there's plenty of blue and green mana to get started with.
The next changes I made included adding Force of Will, a card I wouldn't even try to compete in a type 1 environment without now. When an opponent can generate enough mana to pull off a devastating combo on turn 2, you need to have a Force of Will in your hand. When I have been lucky enough to draw two (or one time three!) during the course of a game, I've beat decks that were worth $1,000 more than mine.
In addition to the Force of Will, I also added a Strip Mine, Sol Ring, and a Mana Vault.

The build I'm using now uses Intuiution instead of Deep Analysis. Instead of getting 3 cards into my graveyard, I still get two, and then I can feed the Wonder my opponent always hands me back to my discard/drawing engines, Merfolk Looter.
Against a fast goblin deck I sideboard in Blue Elemental Blast and Pyroblast, against the fast artifact deck I add Hurkyl's Recall.

I feel pretty good about this deck's chances, but would always like to add some more power to it.
